The Host Countries

A flyway is constituted by a chain of countries through which the birds migrate. Each country is a link within this chain making the flyway a single unit and actions taken in one country can have knock-on effects beyond its borders. Therefore there is a joint responsibility among host countries for the conservation of visiting birds.
